19/07/11: There’s always a first timefor everything right? My cabaret virginity was taken last Tuesday as I hastily rolled down to City Of Quebec, and to my surprise, it was ridiculously entertaining! In a comfortable, warm, welcoming pub, seconds from the tube and with a gorgeous area to enjoy a smoke with ya pals, it is a perfect little place to just chill and giggle. Two fantastic drag stars were cracking us up as they performed karaoke and comedy combined. It was hilarious! There was no time to catch your breath, as the jokes kept flowing thick and fast. At one point my cider flew from my mouth as I continued to piss myself! In amongst the jokes, they really put on a fabulous performance performing many tracks, one being ‘New York, New York’. And the “bitch” of the night was part of the crowd – professional singer Ross Williams stole the show as he spontaneously left his peanuts and joined the queens singing. Lady Imelda and CJ were an absolute riot, make sure you get down and see them as soon as possible; you won’t be disappointed.
