15/06/14: Rupert Street in association with Aussie Bum gave us Pride with a purpose Sunday afternoon with a Fashion Fundraiser featuring that fashionista of the stage, La Voix and her Va Va Voom Boys fresh from Britain’s Got Talent flaunting their wares and showing that Soho cares.
A pound from every drink special purchased throughout June has raised a considerable sum for Pride in London, so they got beachy with a Baywatch Beach Party a la Voix and the Va Vas running slow motion through Soho followed by a song and rhumba through Rupert Street, an Aussie Bum speedo auction strip and top-notch raffle prizes.
Pride in London charity cyclists, Martin Kmiecik, Richard Tipping and Bart Sulkowski raised donations for their Paris to London ride next Sunday from Trafalgar Square. She sang. We drank. They danced. We swooned. They passed the hat. We pitched in. That’s how we do it Soho-style!
