13/09/14: All we can say is the QX crew were super super exited, heading to West 5 to see the one and only Adore Delano!
We only arrived a tad late in sheer panic, hoping not to miss the talent that was Miss Adore, and just by chance she was running a bit late too. Woohoo – breathe, breathe, compose. We haven’t seen West 5 this packed in a long time, the crowd was young and friendly and they were chomping at the bit for the show to get going.
The hostess on stage for the night was one of London’s drag matriarchs, Miss Dusty O. In top form, with gags and funny scoldings a plenty, on stage before the Adore was the fabulous Vanity Von Glow and to pass some time Dusty played a game of musical bumps which was so funny, those contestants must still have bruises.
We quickly popped back stage to see if Adore was ready and had a little chat, such a sweetie, then back to the front for the the most amazing performance: raps, riffs and glamour! We adore-adore-adore Adore Delano, #Amazing performance we can’t wait to cross paths again Glamazon!
