07/02/16: In contrast to the Papa Heroes battle for good at Fire, Beyond took a darker path on Sunday morning as the capital’s biggest and best afterhours party imagined the year 2039 where the Government has crumbled, society is on the brink of collapse and the so called Superheroes have abandoned the people of London leading to crime, disorder and debauchery.
Sounds like the perfect night to me. The Box was taken over for one long mammoth hedonistic house session from Gonzalo and D’Johnny back to back for no less than 6 hours while Shawn Capewell and the Beyond all stars distilled their inner darkest spaces into twisted hideous monsters on stage that still managed to look hot. The decks in 103 were graced by the über gorgeous Jamie Head and the terrible twins Maze & Masters while Martin Princess was the ever efficient host pumping the pistons that kept it all running and ensured Beyond remained the ultimate afterhours clubbing experience.
