10/12/10: QX hit the Vauxhall strip for a funkin’ Friday night outing from Barcode last weekend as one of the capital’s favourite hangouts got groovin’ for a Christmas mix of killer club anthems. Hosted by scene supremo Dorian Black, and paying tribute to classic dance labels including Strictly Rhythm, Defected Records and MAW, Barcode regulars were in for a treat with some of the scene’s most happening DJ names nailing down bitchin’ beats right through ‘til the small hours. Cranking up the slamming action on the dancefloor, Megawoof! head honcho, Daz Saund, took over the decks for non-stop party tunes with more to come from Italian superstud Leonardo Glovibes. Next door and the front bar saw a gathering of gorgeous gays making the most of decent drinks prices for a South London social with a great soundtrack from W. Jeremy and Super Paolo that had us forgetting all about the lateness of the hour and staying out ‘til way past our bedtimes. Check out the action at Barcode this week – open seven days!
