16/11/13: The infamous GutterSlut crew descended upon Bethnal Green last weekend, commandeered a straight male strip club, kicked out the strippers and invited a host of East London’s most startling party-starters to take over the poles for the night.
When QX arrived the place was heaving over each floor with people partying to gay London’s funnest beats and atmosphere until Jonny Woo suddenly descended in a flurry of magnificence, sliding down a pole from the second floor.
As the risqué entertainment got under way upon the stage, more extravagantly dressed drag queens slipped from floor to floor from the poles, like fabulous Kamikazi transvestites.
Upstairs groups of gyrating gays had taken over the stripclub booths, whilst unsuspecting boys and men were being invited to cavort with a lascivious beauty in big boots and a bigger wig – and a dune buggy.
Up one more floor to the secret harem room, and we suddenly found ourselves in the midst of the Arabian desert with layers of real sand hefted in to the floor!
GutterSlut is one of East London’s most popular parties both because of their fun, anything-goes attitude and their inventive approach to the clubbing landscape – GutterBall brought all this brilliantly to the fore, and more! Till next year!
