People’s Vote March

People’s Vote March

23/03/19: At just under a million people, Saturday’s march for a people’s vote was one of the biggest in UK history. Interestingly, many papers the next day didn’t run it as their front page. INTERESTING. The was a feeling of hope and camaraderie (all too rare these days) as Londoners and people from all around the UK came together around Parliament and Piccadilly to protest for change. While many DID agree with the march’s intended premise of demanding a people’s vote, it was clear that it was generally a march AGAINST Brexit, AGAINST the madness, and AGAINST the insulting incompetence we’ve seen from our government. It might feel hopeless sometimes, but this seems to be all we can do right now – let’s keep doing it until they listen!
