07/01/12 : In our (humble) opinion, a diverse and flourishing gay scene can only succeed with many different promoters offering a whole variety of club nights, so we were pleased to discover a new bi-monthly men only night at Union in Vauxhall and popped along on Saturday to check it out.
Roar is a no frills and no attitude night for boys looking for a good time. Promoted as ‘Real Men, Real House Music, Real Clubbing’, the lovely Ben Jamin was ruling the front room with funky tunes while Paul Coals played club anthems in the back room.
There were cruise zones for those after a quick ‘meat and greet’, great bar prices and a beefy crowd of butch blokes – hot, hot, hot!
