05/05/19: With so much going on across London, it really takes a major event to have us staying central. The institution that is R & She turning seven was damn sure one of those events. They’ve been giving us a heavy dose of female-fronted funk for three-quarters of a decade(ish), and we needed to get in on the action. It was nothing but the BEST vibes all night long, and we discovered quite quickly that our level of dancing was not up to par. The R&She crowd can DANCE, like they don’t have ligaments or something. It’s crazy. Our hip-thrusts just look like Pinocchio having a seizure. That didn’t stop us from giving it our all in that dance floor when QBoy took to the decks. We think he may have thrown us a cheely wink, but he could well have just been cringing at our twerking.
