05/02/11: With a name that sounds like a niche market venue, XXL is actually surprisingly eclectic in the clientele it attracts, with the crowd spanning the whole gamut from hairy daddies to tattooed muscle boys to plain fit horn-dogs. But they all have one thing in common, a love for big anthemic dance tunes delivered the way only Christian M can deliver them. With a love of the Freemasons style of production, Christian’s set is always a full-on, arms-in-the-air danceathon so the order of business is: through the door, grab a drink, shirt off and dance like crazy. For those needing a breather, there’s a cruise arch next door and a pop and retro arch next door to that, so something for everyone. And did we mention the hot guys?
