Cool cruisey vibes at Comptons
11/02/17: Comptons was filled to the rafters with primetime hotties last Saturday, many of whom had stayed on after watching the Six Nations.
10/02/17: We love a star here at QX and you’re always guaranteed to see a familiar face at Ku Bar.
Cancer Is A Drag
26/01/17: When the cabaret community comes together for a good cause, they do it with bells and whistles and bulging handbags. And once again they didn’t disappoint for Cancer is a Drag’s latest fundraising spectacular at the RVT. Founded by Alan Bugg, and championed by cabaret artists from across the UK, these events are always a menagerie of talent and camaraderie.
We popped down to Central Station’s 25th!
04/02/17: Cosy Kings Cross boozer Central Station turned twenty-five years old last weekend!
Diva Explosion at The RVT
28/01/17: Ku’s always a sparklingly good Saturday night, and this Saturday it was more lit (that’s a millennial word) more LIT, than ever!
21/07/17: It was a bangin’ night at the Old Ship, as outside wind and rain battered the the portholes.
21/01/17: So I don’t know if anyone told you but this place has had a makeover! There’s new lights, new DJ booths, it’s colourful af. Omg it’s pretty in Ku Bar.
14/01/17: We love a bit of Circa! Social, sexy, and Soho-adjecent, it’s great for shimmying and sipping the night away in a bustling, glitzy setting.
07/01/17: Always a rip-roaring Saturday night, Ku showed us last Saturday that London’s gays, girls and Sohocialites, have not only already shrugged off Dry January, but probably don’t even know what Dry January is.
Halfway 2 Heaven
07/01/17:If it wasn’t for the rainbow flags and the pictures of drag queens decorating the walls, you could be mistaken to think that Halfway II Heaven is like any other pub.
NYE Soho Bar Crawl
Anthem: Old Skool Reunion
23/12/16: Christmas is a time for tradition and nostalgia, when people travel home to find out exactly how much their childhood bedroom and everything around it have shrunk.
George & Dragon
23/12/16: Central Station’s lovely! It’s in a great location just down the road from Kings Cross, and it’s great inside – velvet curtains, a Christmas tree, friendly bar staff, it’s all very festive.
Comptons of Soho
17/12/16: ’Twas the Saturday before Christmas and all through Soho, not a hot man was stirring - ’cos they’re all in Comptons...oh.
17/12/16: Ku have had a brand spanking new neon-spattered refurb and are continuing to hold their crown in the London gay scene with jewel juddering aplomb!
Comptons of Soho
15/12/16: Despite the full moon and its well-known hair-growing virtues, we did not solely find the usual assortment of bears, otters, silver foxes and wolves during our visit to that venerable institution that is Comptons on Thursday.
18/12/16: Comptons is one of our absolute faves, and it was going OFF for their Christmas extravaganza on Thursday.
