Drag Idol at Halfway2Heaven - Review

Drag Idol at Halfway2Heaven – Review

Halfway2Heaven had their first heat of Drag Idol on Monday 25 April. What a brilliant night it was. Hosted by one of our favourites, Mrs Moppe, all the contestants put on fabulous performances. Unfortunately they can only pick one winner of the heat to go through. Congratulations to the winner, Shar Cooterie.

There are more Halfway heats on 2nd, 9th and 16th May with the Heat Final on 23 May. The venue hosts some of the best cabaret acts on the scene most nights of the week. You can find out what’s on by visiting the QX listings.

A bit about Drag Idol …

Drag Idol, now in its 17th year, is one of the only competitions on the LGBTQ+ circuit that launches careers for its winners. Now spanning 17 venues nationwide from Edinburgh, Cardiff, Brighton, Manchester and London to name a few. You can see the dates and venues for the next heats on our QX IG post embedded below.

Drag Idol is an all-encompassing competition that features a rainbow of drag performers competing to win the crown and launch them on the vibrant and forward looking drag scene we now have in the UK. We can’t wait to see who gets through to the finals.
