18/05/19: This year we weren’t going to spend the gayest night in the European calendar crammed into someone’s front room. Thankfully, Ku had our back hosting their very own Eurovision, complete with an international crop of muscled hunks keeping us libated. We were, of course, rooting for the twinkish fetish creatures Hatari but decided against heading out in a leather harness with the Icelandic flag painted across our bum cheeks. Didn’t want to put those Ku bar boys to shame, you know? The room came to its feet as our lady Madge took to the stage to perform, but it wasn’t long before the entire room groaned at hearing her work that vocoder. Our choice might not have won the song competition, but at least we scored ourselves an Australian before the night was over.
