27/07/17: WOWZA! This one was a bit ridiculous. But it was organized by us, so that’s only to be expected really. It was a comedy drag roast, to raise momey for HIV charity The Terrence Higgins Trust. We have it every year at the RVT, and it’s always a roaring success, if we do say so ourselves. This year’s roastee was cynical Scot Mary Mac, who was looking resplendent with a lovely long ponytail. The night was hosted by Mrs Moore, who we’re actually a bit in love with. She’s BONKERS. The roasters were the always scream-inducing Myra DuBois, as well as scene stale wart Miss Jason, Tanya Hide who allegedly isn’t a comedy queen but who was HILARIOUS, and the always crispy Lola Lasagne. Basically, we all got wasted, it was hilarious, AND we raised thousands of pounds for a good cause. Amazeballs. Well done to all involved.
