Treacles is a community and home for us queer people and our allies to come together and celebrate who we are. Sox told QX, “We grew up in South East London, back when it was buzzing with queer life, and we want to bring that energy back.”
Treacles welcomes all queers and allies to join them, and they especially want to uplift and create space for our FLINTA and QPOC communities. Sox continued, “We ask that everyone who joins us be mindful of this and help us keep Treacles an inclusive and joyful space for all.”
During the Treacles residency, there will be a mix of exciting events: game nights, pub quizzes, ceramic workshops, themed club nights, and more. Treacles wants to curate a calendar with something for everyone!
They’re kicking off their residency of The Five Bells Pub (155, New Cross Road, SE14 5DJ) this Friday, 7 February, with a free salsa and bachata social from 6 pm.
