28/08/11: QX Club News hoofed it across to Vauxhall at a fair canter for an action-packed bank holiday special edition of London’s favourite equestrian extravaganza last Sunday. Featuring the very best in off-kilter clubbing antics, a blazing saddles hoedown saw each of the fantastic four horsemen of the HMD apocalypse – aka the original resident DJ clan – hitting the decks for a night of funkin’ histrionics and dirty dressage.

Mane attractions included Luke Howard throwing down the gauntlet for an exhilarating bareback ride (ooh we say!) taking in ecstatic eighties raves, pulsating pop licks and galloping retro-disco grooves, with much, much more to come from Jim Stanton, James Hillard and Severino.

Meanwhile, there was scarcely room for a game of strip-Buckaroo with a filthy horse-hung stud as the proceedings spilled out into the pumpin’, jumpin’ Eagle garden, complete with tropical island beach-style bar and nicotine-fuelled ambience.

Back inside, the marathon dance-off continued as the capital’s freakiest funkateers kept up the astounding antics on the floor through ‘til late. Horse Meat Disco slams it at The Eagle again this Sunday!
