13/11/10: This past Saturday Urban Desi’s ‘Diwaili special’ made us realize why we love London so much. It was deffo a delicious mish-mash of style, music, people, different races and sexualities… a totally hot melting pot! YUM! In charge of all the diversity on the floor were DJs V, Philly and Ammo who played a varied spicy mix of R’n’B, UK funky, garage, Bhangra, Bollywood and Giddha, so it was pretty much every sound under the sun and all the peeps there ate it up. This was not your typical gay night out, we passed on the Stella and tried one of the cultural concoctions on offer at the bar, and we have to say that now we are hooked on Indian cock(tails). A truly colourful night celebrating London’s vastly diverse club scene, this is what the capital is all about!
