Summer Rites: Pride in the Park is going to be the big gay festival of the summer, and the various huge tents they’ll be having throughout their hallowed grounds of Shoreditch Park will showcase the very best of everything the gay clubbing scene in London has to offer.

Today we take a look at the ‘All About East’ tent hosted by the hottest East End nights, including the three legends we’ve got listed below: Gutterslut, Hot 2 Trot and Super Electric Party Machine.

GUTTERSLUT
(Per QX)

“In the All About East tent this year Crystal MC will showcase the sound of GutterSlut. GutterSlut is one the first alternative gay clubs in east London, that now also has a home in Berlin. We started the night as a protest against the gay mainstream club scene in London. The idea came up after having too many after-parties in Nic, Ralf and mine’s flat on Glebe road in Dalston, and decided to move to a strip club on Hackney Road called Images where it all took off. Our crowd is very mixed and really knows how to partyyy! We always try to make it fresh and play exiting music. So if you like what you hear in the All About East tent, join us at East Bloc for GutterSlut’s ‘Not so official pride after party’.”

Gutterslut Top 3

  1. ‘Sleep Like a Man’ – Leonardo Gonnelli and Menne
Bitch house banger that gets the bitches goin’!
  2. ‘House is House’ – Darius Syrossian, Hector Couto
I usually play this three times in a set, I just can’t get enough.
  3. ‘Lock’ – Ramon Tapia
Had this for a while now, but the irresistible baseline drop is too good for you to let go!Favourite Pride Memory
I went in 2003 but I can’t remember much except that I introduced my friend Jenny to poppers, and got her bumping up and down in the Trade tent for hours! I’m very exited to see what will be the weirdest moments this year!

  4. HOT 2 TROT
    (Pagano)

“Hot 2 Trot is sexy, sassy and garden-fresh! The music is pure unadulterated quality House and Techno. The clientele is a mix of buff boys, club kids, sexy men and hot tranny messes! The atmosphere is exciting like the final rush at the Derby. Ride it baby: it’s Hot 2 Trot!”

    Hot 2 Trot Top 3

    1. ‘Pornochanchada’ – Pagano (Stereo Productions)
Pornochanchada is the name of the Sexploitation films produced in Brazil. You can imagine the rest!
    2. ‘Rock It’ – Jay Lumen (Suara)
Techouse meets Speed Garage with an Afrika Bambaataa sample: what’s not to love?
    3. Let’s Groove’ – George Morel (Get Physical Music)
Suara’s head-honcho Coyu seals the deal for me with a massive remix 2013Favourite Pride Memory
Being caught with my pants down by security on the Trade dancefloor doing the naughties circa 1998. In my defence it was normal back then. Something to be Proud of!

      SUPER ELECTRIC PARTY MACHINe
      (PaLarry Tee)

“East Bloc is a club whose goal is to showcase the best of London’s vibrant East London gay community. Because the East End has of late been the home to the creative community, the alternative queer community, and outrageous parties. Musically, East Bloc is anything goes as long as it moves the crowd. It’s also one of the most likely places to wind up with a hot piece in your hand at the end of the night. “

      SEPM TOP 3

      1. ‘Confess to Me’ – Disclosure feat. Jesse Ware This track cooks because its the old skool house that is making everyone sweat these days, but also has that X Factor that makes it feel new and now.
      2. ‘Bounce’ – Iggy Azaelia
Iggy Zaealia is 6 ft diva who knows how to be a bitch, and the children love a little attitude on the dancefloor!
      3. ‘Get Lucky’ – Daft Punk
This is one for the crowd that loves pop music and needs an uplifting song to be able to sing along with!Favourite Pride Memory
When I reluctantly agreed to march with the esteemed local gay charities London Friend and Antidote. It was a rag-tag chain-smoking, drunk-ass crew that staggered and swaggered through town without a truck loaded with hotties and trannies, but with a simple banner declaring its existence. But it turned out to be such debauchery and fun which reminded me that there was an opportunity to help out the community in all the madness. And YES, I think i got laid at the end of the day by the hottest boy in town, too! Charity pays off!

The All About East tent will be at Summer Rites: Pride in the Park on Saturday 29th June (Shoreditch Park, New North Road, N1 6TA) 2-11pm.
