Pride’s Bear Zone features a themed DJ stage for plenty of alfresco dancing, a Bears’ bar, food stalls, a hog roast (yes, a genuine hog roast!), Bears’ picnic area and a Bears in the Woods area, plus lots of Grrr surprises! Don’t miss London legends Micky Galiano, Severino, Paul Coals and Hifi Sean.

Whatever you’re doing for Brighton Pride you’ll find something useful on this app, more than likely you’ll find many useful things on this app. Whether it’s the performers’ schedule, the march route, places to stay, transport timetables, bars to go to, a list of events or you just want to submit your photos, you can do it all on the Brighton Pride app, as well as much, much more. It costs just 69p and, because it was developed for free by Organic Apps, all profits go to Brighton Pride and their chosen good causes. Go to the website and click the link to purchase it.

PARK & RIDE

Visiting Brighton Pride? Then take the strain out of parking and travelling in one easy step that can save you time and money, as you have the option for a simple park and ride service that makes your Pride experience that much smoother. For just £10, visitors can park their car in the Mill Road Car Park and up to four passengers can use the shuttle bus, running every 30 minutes, to get to the festival on Preston Park or the city centre (depending on road journeys). The return journey will be charged at £2.50 per person from either the city centre or the park. Check the website for more details: www.brighton-pride.org.

03/08/13: OFFICIAL POST PRIDE PARTY

Wilfruit and Brighton Pride present the official after party at its brand new location Shooshh. It’s a glamorous new club at the Kings Road Arches and it won’t disappoint. It’s going to be a trip from London to Brighton with many of our DJs taking to the decks: Steve Pitron, Guy Williams and Fat Tony take over the Icons of House room; Severino and Micky Galliano play for the Bears in the Backroom and Big Jon, Jeffrey Hinton and Patrick Lilley get us twerking on the Urban Floor. The only thing bigger than this event will be the preceding event at Preston Park – definitely not one to miss.

04/08/13: SUNDAY SUNDAE ANNUAL PRIDE REUNION

It’s the legendary Brighton Party that starts in the afternoon and its Pride instalment is set to be one of the best. You don’t just raise the roof, you can dance on it – enjoy great music on the sunny terrace. And great music it will be with legends Mr Haywood, Kate Wildblood, Queen Josephine, Richard Jones, Guy Williams and Fat Tony providing the tunes.

04/09/2013: WILDFRUIT OFFICIAL CLOSING PARTYí

It’s back to the glamorous surroundings of Shooshe for the closing party of what will no doubt be an amazing Brighton Pride. The three rooms will be played by DJs Dulcie Danger, Lil Alex, Richard Jones, Becky Perry, Lady Lola, Missy B and very special gust to be announced, as the Pride happy party goers get together for the big finale.
