Mark your calendars, folks! Dalston Superstore is turning 17 on 3 May, and what better way to celebrate than with an epic party!

DRAG ME: Exhibition at Dalston Superstore

Dalston Superstore invited Matt Ford to take over their wall space with a vibrant pop art portrait exhibition.

This exhibition is a heartfelt love letter to London’s fabulous queer community and all those who adore partying!

For the exhibition, Matt Ford has handpicked some of his favourite larger-than-life queer portraits, featuring the well-loved faces from the scene. Expect a delightful mix of familiar works from event posters and your favourite performers’ social media accounts, along with brand-new pieces that have never been seen before! Plus, he’ll be scattering his Polaroids of famous faces throughout the venue, tucked away in some hidden corners of the club—so keep your eyes open for them.

In the evening, party across 3 rooms, from 6 pm-5 am, for a total of 11 hours!

Decius Soundsytem storm The Mothership with illicit, bathhouse grooves. Decius Soundsystem is a London-based electronic music project that combines acid house, disco, and techno with a gritty punk ethos. Amsterdam duo Doppelgang serve an acid house headspin ’til sunrise. The DJ duo are twin brothers Sander and Maurice de Graaf.

With a fierce rotation of resident babes playing power hours all night long & a bass pumping energy takeover from African Caribbean party crew Popola in the secret third room.

Plus dancefloor stylings from Dalston Superstore, an all-star cast of gogo dancers and drag legends.

DRAG ME exhibition kicks off on 3 May from 5pm to 8pm, and best of all, it’s free to enter! Afterwards, you can snag tickets for the rest of Superstore’s birthday celebration, which continues from 6pm to5 am.

Don’t miss out on one of the most colourful parties of the year.
