A man whose tussled tendrils inspire weeping in young men, whose beard bristles tame nature’s wild beasts by way of jealousy, whose bulbous pectorals have savage bulls cowering behind the matador’s red cloth.

A man blessed to this planet by a benevolent Morpheus, he is the man of our dreams. Ladies, gentlemen, and those clever enough to transcend gender, we give you Jason Momoa.

He first made his way into our wet dreams appearing as Khal Drago in Game of Thrones. As the undefeated warlord of the Dothraki people he had us licking the screen wishing that he’d impale us with his mighty weapon. Never before had a man looked so good in a leather corset.

Since then, he’s made quite the name for himself, climbing up through the Comic Con fandoms, landing himself the coveted role of Aquaman in the box office hit Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Later this year he’ll have his first starring role in Aquaman, as Aquaman (imagine that). Things are going to get wet. To celebrate his recent success, here are the insta-posts we’ve spent many a late evening staring at:
