The Divine is an exciting LGBTQ+ nightlife space in London. Situated in the vibrant heart of Dalston, East London the venue pened in 2024. It was founded by prominent figures in London’s queer scene, including drag artists Jonny Woo and John Sizzle, and producer Colin Rothbart. This venue has emerged as the spiritual successor to The Glory, a beloved queer pub that played a significant role in shaping London’s aLondon’sve nightlife for nearly a decade.

The Divine is more than just a bar

The Divine is a bar, a lively performance space, nightclub, and cultural hub. Renowned for its bold and experimental programming, The Divine hosts a wide variety of events, including drag shows, cabaret performances, live music, comedy, and late-night DJ sets. The lineup reflects The Divine’s mission to celebrate all aspects of LGBTQ+ creativity. This approach makes it a magnet for artists, performers, and audiences seeking experiences beyond the mainstream.

The Divine adds to a vibrant collection of queer spaces in East London. This area is often referred to as a new “pink triangle”. As many queer venues face closure due to economic challenges, places like The Divine are vital in supporting and preserving London’s LGBTQ+ culture.

The Divine Opening Hours: Mon 5 pm – 11 pm, Tue 5 pm – 12 am. Wed – Thu 5 pm – 12:30 am, Fri – Sat 5 pm – 3 am, Sun 5 pm – 12:30 am.
