The sea of muscled torsos on the Electric Brixton dance floor would’ve had anyone singing like Sister Maria on a mountainside. It was bulging pectorals and bulbous biceps as far as the eye could see. Rubbing up against washboard abs is exactly how we imagined spending our Bank Holiday Sunday night. A WE Party basically guaranteed that. This year we fell a little short of our summer body, but that didn’t stop us. We let our love handles fly free as the muscle gays looked on in horror. Was it courageous? Yes. Might we be the next body-positive icon? Maybe. Were we absolutely twatted? Of. Course. We. Were.
