27/05/16: The bank holiday weekend brought something exciting and special to XXL.
It saw the return of XXL’s big and burly cabaret stage, situated in the end arch, just outside those magical dark doors. This time the stage was indeed XXL, with a runway that stretched the entire length of the arch, ready for those cabaret queens to sissy their walks in their deathly-high stillies.
The entertainment included the ‘as seen on TV’ Myra Dubois, the ‘as seen on cruise ships’ Doctor Woof and the ‘as seen on Broadway’ Miss Peppermint and Sherry Vine. It was a wonderful atmosphere and a spectacle rarely seen in XXL, everyone was sat in the packed out arch, laughing and enjoying the entertainment like a West End production!

It kicked off a bank holiday special at XXL that also included all our regular favourites, such as Joe Egg and David Robson doing their own West End show on the decks in the pop arch. Christian M Morris and Alex Logan kept everything swinging in the huge main arch; there was just about breathing room, the atmosphere was so intense!
But wait, that wasn’t it, XXL had one more surprise their jockstrap, in the form of the amazing Moto Blanco, just to finish you off for the night. BEAR PRIDE FOR LIFE.
