Topher Taylor recounts his cheeky adventures at fetish week!

Fetish Week was a fun and chaotic time. I’ve been in this industry for a long time now, and I don’t think I’ve ever been surrounded by so many penises, latex and leather in such a short space of time. Not that I’m complaining. As sponsors of Recon’s 2018 Fetish Week London, we made sure our customers, Recon members and kinky guys could come and celebrate PRE and POST events in Clonezone stores. What’s the point of having our London locations if the fetish boys can’t come and play? I couldn’t have got through the week without the help of James (a.k.a. MOTHER from Jamie HP). Here’s a dirty diary of what I got up to!

On Monday, we had our PUPPY event in Clonezone Earls Court (in collaboration with Puppy Pride and Pup Out London). Our Earls Court store has a huge range of Puppy Gear, from beginners right through to fully-trained Pups. We had a ball-pit set up downstairs, drinks, puppy treats and of course our incredible Clonezone Earls Court team ready to assist with Puppy purchases pre-UNLEASHED.

Tuesday was a blast; as we invited the gorgeous (and Hottest European Porn Star award-winning) Max Duro to Clonezone Soho for a meet-and-greet with his fans, our customers, and Clonezone staff. The staff love having Max around… I wonder why?! I’m always surprised at how many straight women come running at Max when he takes his shirt off. New career path, Maxxxy?

On Wednesday we had our Sports Gear pre-event at Clonezone Soho and I invited some of my friends in the XXX performance and porn industries to come and meet the Soho crowds. As always, they did not disappoint. Daniel Shoneye, Max Duro, Rocco Hard, Xavier Sibley and Kan Rojas dressed up in their favourite CZ sports gear and posed for photos with fans. Lots of visible penis lines. Not a bad thing.

Things got shiny on Thursday with our pre-RUBBER GEAR event at Clonezone Earls Court. With the arrival of brand new Titus latex instore; we invited Xavier Sibley and Kan Rojas to meet our customers’ and have a play in our new rubber pieces. At the same time, Max Duro and Daniel Shoneye shot off to a secret location to do the official Titus Latex photoshoot.

Saturday was one of the best days I’ve ever worked at Clonezone; the reason being it was the day of the big FULL FETISH pre-event, and the incredible founders of Nasty Pig arrived to join us. These guys are icons; they launched this ‘gear to get you laid’ brand in the midst of the AIDS crisis in 1993’s New York City. Since then, they’ve become an underground sensation which has exploded into the mainstream, with even Madonna wearing their gear.

After doing customer photoshoots with Matt Spike at CZ Earls Court, we moved over to Clonezone Soho and all the gorgeous guys involved in the week dressed up in Nasty Pig gear from Clonezone. Posing and dancing outside the shop, we even stopped traffic at one stage…which is always a good thing. The atmosphere in Soho was electric. A proper trashy Soho evening, which made me feel at home. Like Soho pre-the invasion of expensive trainer and coffee shops.

In the evening, I headed to FULL FETISH with Max Duro, the Nasty Pig guys, Xavier Sibley, James Bennet and the incredible James from JAMIE HP events. But what happens at Fetish Week stays at Fetish Week. Unless you write about it for QX Magazine.
