The gay volleyball team is looking for new recruits

“London Spikers” sounds faintly ominous, drawing to mind wet cobbled alleys and shadows vaulting over gables. But in fact they’re something altogether more cheerful – they’re a gay volleyball club!

The London Spikers Knights Volleyball Club was established in 1995. It’s grown in popularity over the last two decades and now has over 100 members from across the UK, of varying abilities.

Every year they host “LIVE” which stands for “London International Volleyball Extravaganza”. As the name suggest, it’s an international volleyball tournament, with teams from France, Belgium, Italy and of course the UK taking part.

Despite their formidable numbers, they still have vacancies in their Competitive Teams. If you’re into volleyball and want to improve your skills, it’s the perfect way to get your head even more into the game. They’ve got spaces for beginners too, so if you’re looking for something new, why not apply!
