Rob Madge, the star of the Olivier Award-nominated show My Son’s A Queer, will also star in the Love In Mind concert. The concert is set to launch the Harvey Parker Trust and will take place on 30 April at the Southbank Centre. The Harvey Parker Trust is a new charity that supports young marginalised creatives with their mental health and well-being.

Rob will participate in a special performance from their hit West End show. Double MOBO-winning Saxophonist YolanDa Brown, OBE DL, is also announced as the event host.

Rob Madge told QX: “I am absolutely thrilled to be asked to support the Harvey Parker Trust and to be part of this beautiful and celebratory launch night, which will ensure that Harvey’s legacy lives on and other young queer people in the creative arts can get the mental health support that they need.”

Following the concert, The Love In Mind After Party takes place from 11 pm in the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall foyer and is supported by legendary nightclub Heaven and G-A-Y.

Jeremy Joseph, founder of G-A-Y told QX: “We are so proud and honoured to be supporting this event! Harvey told their friends that they felt at home at Heaven. This launch night will be a great way to remember and celebrate Harvey but also to reach out to others who feel isolated and remind them that they are not alone.”

The spectacular event includes live music from Charlie Deakin Davies, hitmaker to the stars, aka Charlieeeee, who makes their debut as an artist in their own right. The G-A-Y Dancers will take to the floor with a bevvy of newly announced DJs, including Richard Cutmore, Prince Jay Jay and Mark Jacobs. Performers on the night include the fabulous Son of a Tutu, DeDe Licious, Flesh, Ophelia Love, Yshee Black, Tayris, Coco Couture, Labelle and From Shesus and the Sisters, and it’s The Sisters keeping the party going long into the night.
