Being a team of booklovers at QX Towers, we are very excited to announce the programme of the III Festival of Queer Literature in Spanish. The festival runs in London from Wednesday, 22 to Sunday, 27 November. Events are at various venues across London. This is a project of Romancero Books and is supported by the Spanish Embassy’s Office for Cultural and Scientific Affairs in London plus Acción Cultural Española with PICE – a programme that promotes Spanish culture worldwide.
At the III Festival of Queer Literature in Spanish, they are hosting seven live events happening at venues across London, including the Spanish Embassy, Institute Cervantes, Foyles Charing Cross and The Common Press in Brick Lane.
III Festival of Queer Literature in Spanish comprise lectures, book launches and poetry readings in Spanish, English and Basque.
The festival organisers have invited some of the most relevant and exciting LGBTQI+ writers and activists from Spain and Latin America, such as Sara Torres, Las Hijas de Felipe, Elizabeth Duval, Nazario, Ocaña, as well as young poets such as Juan de Salas, Hasier Larretxea, Alejandro Simon Partal, Leticia Ybarra and Natalia Figueroa.
