Love Quirks: A New Musical will run from Thursday 18th September – Sunday 12th October 2025 at The Other Palace Studio, 12 Palace Street, London SW1E 5JA. The show features poignant songs and relatable characters, reflecting the awkward, honest, and sometimes beautifully emotional chaos of adulthood.

The cast includes Lewis Bear Brown, known for his roles in Pretty Woman: The Musical (international tour) and Closer to Heaven at the Turbine Theatre, as Ryan, a queer, witty, and whimsical serial dater. Lewis also has a highly successful social media presence, with over half a million followers on TikTok and Instagram. Clodagh Greene plays Stephanie, a no-nonsense Brit, having previously appeared in Connections at The Other Palace and BARE at The London Palladium. Ayesha Patel portrays Lili, a hilarious and quirky graduate student, with credits including Romeo and Juliet at Belgrade Theatre, Bristol Old Vic, and Hackney Empire, as well as Best of the West End at the Royal Albert Hall. Tom Newland plays Chris, a sweet American jock, known for his performances inThe Pirates of Penzanceat Wilton’s Music Hall and on UK tour.

The show has been fifteen years in the making and began as a song cycle before evolving into a fully-fledged musical.

Four broken hearts confront the past and look toward the future in a story filled with laughter, pathos, sexual tension, and the inconvenient quirks that make love so unpredictable.

This heartwarming and hilariously honest musical explores the complex, messy, and painfully relatable landscape of modern love and friendship.

Bringing this unique story to life is an acclaimed creative team

Love Quirks: A New Musical features an award-winning script by Mark Childers, known for “The Kid From Brooklyn” and the USA Tour in 2007. He received the 2021 Off-Broadway Broadway World Award for Best New Book of a Musical for Love Quirks.

Complementing the script is a touching score by Seth Bisen-Hersh, the composer of The Diamond as Big as the Ritz, which will be showcased at the ATA Theatre in 2024.

Director Cecilie Fray is an Offie-nominated theatre and film director whose recent credits include Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
