The Queer Migrations Festival is a community arts event that highlights the intricate connections between queerness and migration—exploring how bodies, identities, and stories traverse borders, seas, and generations. This festival will be held at the Royal Museums Greenwich, Firepit Art Gallery, and PARKSfest 2025. Queer Migrations focuses on the experiences of queer individuals who have embarked on journeys, fled their homes, or resettled, often in search of safety, freedom, or a sense of belonging. The Queer Migrations program features community-led workshops, an exhibition, and live art performances.

Bitesize Festival presents Flower Face at Riverside Studios, 18 – 20 July 2025
Flower Face is an anarcho-queer reimagining of the Welsh legend Blodeuwedd from the Mabinogion, connecting the experiences of trans and non-binary individuals with a magical world where bodies can be created, transformed, and destroyed at the whim of a wizard. Once a creation of flowers, Blodeuwedd longs for more than her life as the wife of a legendary hero. A chance encounter in the forest prompts her to question her identity and the constraints of society. The play, produced by the trans-led Pushback Theatre, explores themes of gender, patriarchy, national identity, and bodily transformation. It is crafted by writer and director Tabs Benton-Evans, a recent semi-finalist in the European Opera Directing Prize 2025.
