Like us, you might have noticed the fit workmen entering and leaving Rupert Street in recent weeks. So, being the nosey bitches we are, we decided to investigate…
So we’ve noticed a few changes at Rupert Street, what’s been going on?
We’ve had a bit of a makeover. We’ve completely transformed the toilets, which were in desperate need of attention. There’s brand new furniture, lighting, wallpaper and artwork in the bar. Outside has been spruced up with a fresh lick of paint and we’ve got brand new garden furniture – it looks fabulous!
We hear you’ve got a brand new Thursday night! What’s happening and what can we expect?
The night is called Enriched, DJ Rich B plays every Thursday from 8pm, and every now and then we’ll introduce special guests. The next event is his new single launch for ‘Hussy’ on the 10th October. Marcella Puppini will be performing live.
Are there any drinks deals at the moment?
Every Monday is BAR250 where all drinks are from £2.50 from 7pm. And our popular Happy Hour is every day 4pm till 8pm, where all champagne is reduced, including Louis Dornier for £19, and all cocktails are 2-4-£10.
What kind of music do you guys play?
It varies: café del mar, pop, funky house. Alessandro and Brent Nicholls are my regular superstars DJs on rotation. We’ve just recently had the Freemasons, Hoxton Whores and The Sharp Boys, who are all fantastic. We have Jodie Harsh coming to play for us again soon which I’m looking forward to. We also have some very special guest DJs in the pipeline, so watch this space.
And finally, why is Rupert Street a great place to go?
By day, it’s a relaxing and calm space where you can watch the world go by through our huge windows. By night, the venue comes alive with the most metrosexual crowd. Great drinks prices and promotions and the staff are lovely too.
