The London Otters Rowing Club, one of the largest LGBT+ rowing clubs in the world, are preparing themselves to row the distance between Soho and the french capital ahead of the Gay Games which are taking place from the 4th to the 12th of August. Over 76 of the Club’s members are heading down to Paris to compete next month.

The rowers will be hopping onto rowing machines in St Anne’s Church Yard on Saturday the 21st of July, and will be going until they reach their goal of 344km which is exactly how far from Paris they’ll be. Rather you than us boys!

The Gay Games have been going strong for over thirty years, and this year over 10,000 competitors from 80 countries will be competing in 36 different sports. This is the first international competition for The London Otters, and they’re taking over a third of those rowing at the games. WE BELIEVE IN YOU BOYS! Best of luck from us here at QX Magazine.
