Sizzling Sunday At Brighton Pride

It’s not all about Britney y’know!

Now. We ALL know what’s happening on the Saturday at this year’s Brighton Pride. That’s right, everyone’s favourite blonde pop princess Pixie Lott is performing! Plus, an artist called Britney Spears.

But what about the Sunday, eh?! Sundays are fast becoming our fave at Brighton Pride. There’s nothing quite like waking up on that pebbly beach with a condom wrapper stuck to your cheek, and stumbling back to the parks and cobbled streets for a bit of hair of the dog and even MORE fabulous queer action.

This year there’s more going on than ever, so here’s our run down of the best parties and events stumbling into Sunday 5th August!

LoveBN1Fest

It’s a brand new, specially curated Sunday festival for Brighton Pride! And considering it’s a mere satellite event connected to the celebrations on Saturday, the lineup is mega. It’s at Preston Park, raising money for the Pride Social Impact Fund, and there are going to be turns from GRAMMY AWARD WINNER Nile Rogers, as well as another GRAMMY AWARD WINNER Jess Glynne and a DOUBLE BRIT AWARD WINNER, Gabrielle! Dreams CAN come true, even on a hungover Sunday.

Pride Pleasure Gardens

Get a slice of East London’s madness by the sea on Sunday, as those mad kids from The Glory throw their Oyster cards to the winds in favour of fish and chips and sticks of rock! They’re doing a Big Gay Barn Dance all dayer, with a three party day; first, loads of mad homages to queen of country, Dolly Parton; then, an iconic cabaret Madonna special, with loads of Madonna stuff; THEN, an “Apocalipstick” queer anthem party. God knows what that means. John Sizzle’s passed out by the 2p machines.

Sunday Sundae Pride Reunion

Uh-oh! The infamous, Miami-style terrace party is BACK, for a super soaked pride edition. Think neon rollerskates, think the Birdcage, think The Assassination of Gianni Versace (but with less homicide, and more Penelope Cruz). It’s going to be twelve hours of non-stop partying at Brighton’s infamous Patterns, with hedonistic vibes and a state-of-the-art soundsystem. Gorgey.

Tickets for all Sunday events are available at brighton-pride.org
