Discerning scene musings from the princess of East London!

Have you got a favorite place to go to, a fave thing to do or actually a fave thing to wear? My tastes go in phases, and I get totally obsessed with a place or activity or even a bit of tired old drag, which ultimately becomes a signature look!

Anyway this week we’re looking forward to some ‘archive’ from photographer Derek Ridgers, who releases a new book documenting subcultures from the 1970’s to the present day, with a pop up installation of his work at the Old Truman Brewery. It launches on 4th October at 6:30pm-10pm and yes subculture lovers, I’ll be djing at the launch. It then continues every day till Sunday 7th October from 11am as part of ARTBLOCK.

Back for Trouble – Friday Night Drag Tag Brawl at The Glory on Friday 5th October Baby Lame and Crystal Beth run riot from 9pm till 2am. A really hilarious evening and I’m not just saying that because I’m DJing at it lol! Anyway come and see us!
