Can ANYONE name a Christmas song more dull than The Twelve Days of Christmas? We sure as hell can’t, and we’re glad to see the folks over at Beyond are giving it a big middle finger for it to sit on. They reserve the right to deny entry to anyone who turns up with three French hens, two turtledoves and a partridge in a pear tree. The nine ladies dancing can come though, they’re into some freaky stuff and always turn the party.
Bringing everyone together ahead of the unavoidable slow death that is a family Christmas with the family in the country, Beyond gives you an opportunity to get your fill of booze-fuelled raving until midday before heading home. If you’re struggling to think of how you’re going to make it through a few days with your Aunt Julie who likes to rant about how she voted for Brexit, then a three-day hangover is sure to sort it. Maybe telling her how a night at Beyond which had you and a Spaniard making out in the back of a cab at 11 am will shut her up.
After a year of working hard to develop the Beyond brand, this party comes as a big thank you to those party people who’ve taken over those bricked Vauxhall arches for their balls-to-the-wall ragers throughout this year. They’re sticking to the set up of your usual night at Beyond, with one room dedicated to the tech house, and the main room blasting those euphoric sounds and uplifting beats. They’re flying in Madrid export DJ De Felipe who’s sure to have you wishing yourself a Feliz Navidad, having taken over the world most established party brands. He’s joined by the likes of Matt Bogard, Neil James, Lee Harris and Michel Mizrahi, taking over the main room with Summer Ghemati, Sam Londt and Lee James giving you dem beats in the Techno room.
Your royal host will be the insatiable Alexia MaQueen, who’s sure to turn a festive lewk that’ll have you following her for another glimpse all night long. Merriment at the ready, let those twelve hours ahead of Christmas COMMENCE!
