“Disabled, Queer and Here” is the much lauded and much needed night for differently abled LGBT people.
The gay scene, and society in general, is often guilty of forgetting or mistreating its disabled members. This night puts the focus on them, with disabled performers leading the night, with shows and conversations focused on disability.
Curated and produced by Wayne Allingham, it’s at iconic London venue, the Royal Vauxhall Tavern (one of few queer venues in Central London that’s wheelchair accessible).
The performances are by London’s considerable and eclectic roster of differently abled drag and cabaret talent, including drag/dance troupe Drag Syndrome, as well as Ebony Rose Dark and Nat Elliot Ross with compering from scene queen Son Of A Tutu!
