Eagle London have LOADS planned for one of the biggest weekends of the year
We always use the word “eggstravaganza” in our Easter issue. It’s just so easy. So convenient. Also, we’re talking about Eagle – eagles are birds. Birds lay eggs. EGGSTRAVAGANZA. There ya go.
Eagle London is one of our faves – our fave thing about it, is that it’s CHATTY. People actually talk to each other, it’s like a foreign country almost, you know, where people are nice. Like Spain or somewhere. They’ve got a lovely roomy beer garden, a fab dance floor and a nice bench area to sit down for a rest.
This bank holiday they’ve got THREE bumper nights. They’re kicking things off with Eagle’s Friday Easter Bender, which does what it says on the tin. A fun and frivolous Friday party to get you in the mood for the MAMMOTH party weekend ahead. It’ll be casual vibes, with DJs Jonjo Jury and Terry Vietheer spinning classic house and party faves.
Then on Saturday, it’s 80s bitchslap of a party ATHENA – an homage to the shoulderpadded fierceness of one of the most fabulous decades ever. Think Joan Collins brandishing a martini. Needless to say, the tunes will be 80s orientated as well. Wonderful dahhhling.
However, the cherry on the…egg (?) is the inimitable, incomparable, indelible HORSE MEAT DISCO! It’s always on a Sunday, but the bank holiday ones are the best because you don’t have that creeping “oh god I’ve got work tomorrow” dread, so there’s nothing to stop you. They’ve got special extended opening hours until 4am, and special guest DJ Justin Strauss all the way from NYC. Oh and 2-4-1 drinks from 8pm – 10pm in a slight change to their scheduling for the rest of the week
