Whether it’s cabaret, performance, drag queens or DJs, there’s always some madness unfolding over in Vauxhall. We dive right into the major Easter weekender over at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, seeing what’s popping off at the iconic South London venue.
Friday April 19th
Pandora Boxx One Woman Show
She was one of the first to do a ‘One Woman Show’ in America, winning awards for her outstanding performances, she’s now ready to come and show the London crowd why she has such a devout fan base. RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni Pandora Boxx is a self-proclaimed geeky weirdo who is addicted to glitter and making people laugh.

BIGMINCE – Easter Weekender
Good Friday has never looked THIS good. Beef Mince is back with another bear full, attitude free party! Resident DJs Silverhook and Cactushead (Ian Buchan) will be delivering their eclectic sets of dirty beats and remixes. The closing set will be served up by international DJ sensation and musician – Massimo Paramour (Jesus died for his sins). Bank holiday weekends are all about the roast dinners, so make sure your choice of meat is BeefMince’s BIG MINCE. Delicious.

Saturday April 20th
Duckie
These purveyors of progressive working class entertainment are here once again this week bringing another dose of queer heritage. Mixing performance art and honky-tonk, every Saturday for twenty-one flippin’ years they’ve been churning these out, and they never get any less shocking. Host Amy Lamé wrangled this arty party playgroup, resident DJs Readers Wifes handling the dance floor, and door whore artistes Father and Jay Cloth.

Sunday April 21st
Sundays at the RVT – Easter Eggstravaganza
A 12-hour special! OFT! This Sunday the RVT will be opening their doors to the finest queens and DJs the scene has to offer. Doors open at 3pm with DJ Simon Le Vans spinning those bops. Then at 5.30pm they’ll be dishing out a healthy helping of cabaret courtesy of Mary Mac, followed by 8 hours of euphoric pop/dance anthems and commercial house from DJs Andy Almighty, Phil Marriott and Sean Sirrs. You’re NOT going to want to miss this one.
3pm – 3am. Members £5, £7 non-members.
Monday April 22nd
Beefmince Tea Dance
Spill that Tea, and serve those dance moves. Resident DJs Silverhook and Cactushead (Ian Buchan) lead the way once again, bringing a rare day-time version of the much-loved BEEFMINCE sound! Joining them for this afternoon installation is guest Chris de Buerre. This is not Chris’ first time at the rodeo. He’s been DJing for several years and has gained quite the reputation for bringing some serious funk into his house sets. Perfect for those afternoon pints at the RVT!
