Meet the gorgeous nutbags taking part in the final of this year’s Lipsync 1000!
The Glory’s LIPSYNC 1000 is London’s most subversive and creative drag contest. It made waves on the scene when it crashed onto East London a few years ago, drawing a wealth of talent from the deepest recesses and darkest converted storage containers of the city.
Such was is its popularity that for the last couple of years they’ve had to move the final from their Haggerston home to more cavernous climes in Clapham, The Grand! An ornate former-theatre-now-general-nightlife-space with a ceiling high enough to accommodate Grace Dent’s beehive.
If you don’t believe us when we say the competition’s inventive, take a look at this lot below! What a nutty bunch. All worth watching in their own hectic ways – there’s loads of genuine imagination, talent and effort in there too. So instead of staying in and watching Bake Off on a Wednesday night (is that still a thing?) get down to THE LIPSYNC 1000 FINAL!
