Come and join the Fervor this August. Toulouse Lautrec, Jazz Club (Parliamentary Jazz Award Nominee 2022) hosts an amazing four-week festival celebrating the worlds of Spoken Word, Live Music, Cabaret, Queer Art + Drag – with comedy and film matinees to boot! Brought to you by producers Joly Licks and Mark T Cox – their aim is to Burn UP not Burn OUT! Celebrating the amazing creatives in our fair city, they’re turning up the heat.
FERVOR THURSDAYS – SPOKEN WORD: 4th | 11th | 18th | 25th August – Spoken Word including an evening with acclaimed poet and author, Salena Godden, plus performances from Ella the Great, Felix Orlo, and Neelofer Nova.
FERVOR FRIDAYS – LIVE MUSIC: 5th | 12th |19th | 26th August – Live Music from the worlds of soul, pop, jazz and Blues – including rising stars, Winnie Ama and Midori Jeager plus, a very special appearance from Sweden’s very own, Stina Wollter.
FERVOR SATURDAYS – CABARET 6th | 13th | 20th | 27th – Cabaret + Drag hosted by the amazing cabaret star, Mark T Cox. Each Saturday night, expect spectacular guests from the London scene, with raucous dance, singing, comedy and everything else in between. Featuring: Pi the Mime (Britain’s Got Talent), Just May, Kiki Mellék and Belgium’s very own, La Veuve.
FERVOR SATURDAYS MATINEES – 13th | 20th August – The Award-Winning Comic – Harriet Braine brings their new show, ‘Our Soul’ to Fervor for a special afternoon preview and on the 20th, the incredible mini film festival Micro Acts is also with us – bring your bags of popcorn for these Fervor Offerings.

Joly Licks has been running events since 2019 – inspired by the community of the spoken word scene, founder Fausta Joly set up popular workshop, Sip + Rhyme. From there, she has hosted larger scale events, full of inter-disciplinary performances : The Sane Asylum, The Giving, and more recently, a venture into a cabaret/spoken word cross over: Cushion the Blow. Their motto is ‘Creativity is a Guarantee of Sanity’ and we’re here to spread it! This festival is something she has been dreaming of for some time and she can’t wait to introduce you to exceptional talent, right here in London Town!
Irish-born Mark T Cox is a performer, producer, host and self-proclaimed international cabaret star! Since landing in London in 2016, Mark has expanded his practice to include curation and production, developing a range of cabaret events across the East End, as well as performing internationally in Belgium, Taiwan, Japan …and of course Ireland. As co-founder of FERVOR festival, Mark aims to bring together London’s best artists and entertainers to reignite the capital this summer!

Fervor Music Fridays kicks with BBC Introducing 2022 ‘Future Headliner’ and ‘One to Watch’ WINNIE AMA! Special support from AIS
Expect an evening of original jazz/soul inspired electronic alt RnB pop written and performed by Winnie Ama and her band, plus original modern arrangements of some jazz standards and contemporary musical masterpieces.
Support – Dublin born, AIS is a rising star with a great sound, making her London debut earlier in May, she’s back in the Big Smoke and bringing the fire on stage in support of Winnie with hit tracks ‘Shine On’ and dance anthem, ‘Glitter Gold’.

AN EVENING WITH SALENA GODDEN – SPOKEN WORD THURSDAYS
Fervor Festival – Spoken Word Thursdays presents an Evening with Salena Godden – one of the most prolific poets of our time both of stage and page.
Participate in an exclusive audience with the activist, broadcaster, essayist and memoirist as they delve into the inner workings of Godden’s creativity, what it was like to publish her critically-acclaimed novel, Mrs Death Misses Death, discover what the future holds and of course, be treated to a private reading.
They will also have a mini line-up of Joly Licks favoured poets prior to the main event.

KIKI MELLEK & DON ONE – CABARET SATURDAYS
Saturday night cabaret hosted by international piano toy boy Mark T Cox.
Each week, they bring the hottest cabaret stars to the Fervor stage. Expect drag, music, puppetry, sex, laughs and tears!
This week they have Kiki Mellék and DON ONE.
KIKI MELLEK is taking the world by storm one stitch at a time. Shaking what her surgeon gave her and pumped up with a sassy philosophy… this is one feminist bio Queen that will leave you screaming.
DON ONE is a drag king superstar! Expect to be fully entertained by a king that has smashed their way through the sequinned ceiling! Don One will be bringing all their talents to the stage, to give you an unforgettable showstopping performance!

This week there’s a Belgian extraveganza with LA VEUVE and EVE IS SICK OF ADAM.
LA VEUVE is a maneater – literally. Deliciously caustic, hairy and sarcastic, her beard is as sharp as her tongue and she takes the femme fatale concept to the next level.
EVE IS SICK OF ADAM was born at Cabaret Mademoiselle, Brussells. Combining drag, illustration and puppetry, to create subversive, poetic, weird and badass lip sync performances, she will invite you to question your idea of beauty.
