After its successful London debut at the King’s Head Theatre, GuyMart is again opening its doors to new shoppers at Waterloo East Theatre from the 2nd to 12th November 2023.

Imagine a gay hookup app as a supermarket where men can browse for and purchase their next sexual partner. The musical show follows young and single Matt as he becomes part of the GuyMart stock, hoping to find the perfect man.

GuyMart gay play in London

The show blends comical songs with fast-paced storytelling while poking fun at hookup apps and the interactions they offer. However, things at GuyMart are different from what they seem. As Matt becomes more involved, the destructive nature of hookup culture is revealed, especially for young and vulnerable gay men.

GuyMart makes you uncomfortable because it’s funny yet inappropriate, slowly pulling you into a strange and disturbing reality.
