Wild About You: Todrick Hall is among the stellar cast in this New Musical In Concert.
Wild About You is a New Musical In Concert with music and lyrics by Broadway star Chilina Kennedy (Paradise Square, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), and is coming to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane for two nights, 25th and 26th March 2024.
It has a book written by Eric Holmes (The Good Fight on Paramount+, Fly More Than You Fall), musical direction, orchestrations, and arrangements by Daniel Edmonds, and is produced by two-time Tony Award® winner Brian Spector.
This world premiere concert will feature Eric McCormack (The Cottage, Will and Grace), Rachel Tucker (Sunset Boulevard, Come from Away), Todrick Hall (Burlesque the Musical, RuPaul’s Drag Race), Jamie Muscato (Moulin Rouge!, Heathers), Oliver Tompsett (Pretty Woman, &Juliet), and Tori Allen-Martin (BBC 1 comedy Here We Go), among its stellar cast.
The story runs as follows. Finding herself in the hospital with limited memory, Olivia must dig through her messy past to work out which of the loves of her life is her emergency contact. Consequently, she realises that her desire to make everyone happy has left no one happy.
Through a series of realisations, Olivia reclaims her right to be flawed and loved in all her human complexity. But then, as she regains clarity, tragedy strikes. She must now move Heaven and Earth to reconnect with her greatest love – her son.
Nick Winston is the Director and Choreographer: he has over one hundred production credits to his name, and his work has been seen in 25 countries across four continents. West End musical credits include Bonnie & Clyde (WhatsOnStage Award for Best Musical), Fame, Annie, Loserville (Olivier Award nomination for Best New Musical), and the acclaimed concert productions of Chess and The Secret Garden.
