HIR starring Felicity Huffman has received rave reviews. Huffman plays the radical matriarch Paige in this original comedy directed by Steven Kunis (who has recently directed very successful LGBTQ+ themed productions in London – Afterglow and F**cking Men).

Written by Pulitzer/Tony-nominee Taylor Mac, this family drama has prodigal son Isaac returning from a war to discover his family home has been transformed by a domestic revolution. Thalía Dudek plays the role of Max, Paige’s transgender teenage child.

The play was named by the New York Times as one of the 25 most influential works of postwar queer literature. There are still some tickets available.

HIR plays until 16 March at Park Theatre, 13 Clifton Terrace, Finsbury Park, London N4 3JP, United Kingdom.
