Twelve-year-old Venus runs away from home, but their journey is cut short when their older sister, Jazmin, spots them wheeling a suitcase down the sidewalk. Jazmin then takes Venus on a trip around Ohio, where she tells supernatural tales. These tales have characters who have more in common with Venus than they realize. Following the classic horror anthology tradition, “Hauntology” features four ghostly vignettes packed with dark magic, vengeful spirits, and Victorian hauntings.
Hauntology is written and directed by Parker Brennon and stars Jaidyn Triplett, Samantha Russell, Naomi Grossman, Samantha Robinson, Zoey Luna and Nancy Kyes.
Hauntology receives its international premiere at FrightFest on 23 August and is released in US cinemas from Friday 13 September 2024.
