How can having a big family be possible through adoption?
Parents And Children Together (PACT) is holding a free live online Q&A on Thursday, September 26th, at 12.30pm. The session will be with an adoptive parent of three children and one of PACT’s adoption team managers. People considering adoption will be able to ask PACT’s experienced team questions and find out what adopting a larger sibling group might look like for them.
PACT is passionate about keeping sisters and brothers together and is always interested in speaking with people who havebig family dreams. Last year, 40% of the children PACT found loving and permanent families for were siblings.
Ellie and Andrea talk about adoption
Ellie and Andrea adopted three children through PACT. They said there were many benefits to adopting a sibling group.
They said: “Our children always have playmates, and we have the large family we dreamt of. But, undoubtedly, the most important aspect is that they have each other.
“These little people have experienced so much uncertainty and change in their short lives, the only consistent factor has been their brothers and sisters – and this is something we were determined to protect.”
