National Hate Crime Awareness Week, organised by 17-24-30 National Hate Crime Awareness Week, runs from 12 – 19 October 2024. As a community we can stand together against hate crime and make a real difference. By getting organised ahead of time we can greatly increase the effectiveness of our campaigning.

Firstly, NATIONALHCAW is appealing for all Members of Parliament to add their support.

Following the wave of hate and violence the country experienced, this is an opportunity for us to come together, to remember those we have lost, to stand in solidarity with those who need our ongoing support, and recommence the work that needs to be done to eliminate hate across the UK.

#NATIONALHCAW

Please write to your local MPs, Police and Crime Commissioners, Mayors and Councillors, and local Community and Faith Leaders to encourage them to add their support. You can do this by writing to them personally or signing up to the Email Newsletter and then forwarding it to them.

Here is a simple list of what you can do to give your support to NATIONALHCAW to help tackle hate crime
