Nestled amongst their very own pink palace, through the bright lights of pink neon signs, glitter ball wine glasses and fluffy pink boas lies ‘Read Between The Wines’, a podcast hosted by Ronnie and Danny. Read Between The Wines is an LGBTQ+ comedy podcast which promotes sex positivity, being open and proud to be who you are, an opportunity to be totally outrageous one hour a week and maybe have a cheeky glass of wine in the process.

Typically, a weekly podcast with episodes dropping at the start of the week, the boys cover the latest news and gossip, topics and themes that push the boundaries and discuss some of the wildest and most outrageous stories and confessions from listeners and those who are brave enough to put their spicy stories online! Life in the Read Between The Wines world is not too serious but not for the faint-hearted. The boys aim to see the lighter side of life each week, creating a platform to be authentically ridiculous in a world where it can be a really tough gig.

Both of the boys have been on a journey of self-discovery over the last few years, particularly navigating their way through coming out as gay. The boys pride themselves as having come out quite late and have since embraced and celebrated their sexuality through the podcast. Both feel liberated through the podcast exploring life, love, sex and all aspects of their new ‘gay life’ (whatever that may be) through a comedic lens. They recognise that there are some amazing LGBTQ+ podcasts out there that cover important issues and draw a lot of inspiration from the community’s bravery.

This podcast not only brings the ‘neon’ into its listeners’ ears each week but also mocks itself, is deliberately outrageous, and is a go-to form of escapism when you just want to shut out the seriousness of life and be scatty, silly, and totally wild. It’s like going round your friends on a Friday night, cracking open one too many bottles and spilling the tea (or vino in this case).

A big inspiration for the podcast comes from some of the homophobia the boys have encountered since coming out, both verbally and physically. A quite severe physical attack in 2022 brought about feelings of fear and shame about being gay and had a significant effect on mental health. Read Between the Wines was born to dispel those feeling of shame and feel liberated for being who you are, a platform to show feelings of pride and not shame and through having a safe space to be authentically you, pushing the boundaries each week and creating a podcast for everyone to come, leave your shame at the door and celebrate being outrageous, often explicit and who you want to be.

Both boys have been extremely proud of the podcast with two live shows under their belts. To celebrate their 100th episode, the boys are hitting the live stage again with a jam-packed live version with special guests, real stories, wild confessions and the return of the 8ft pink neon glory hole (for decorative purposes only, of course) to raise money for men’s mental health charity MANUP?

MANUP? Is a men’s mental health charity who raise awareness about mental health among men through their work and support they give. The charity’s founder aims to improve mental health. Men talking to men about mental health developed into a fully registered charity that is chipping away at stigma. The charity campaign to stop using the term’ man up’. MANUP? seeks to rebrand that awful phrase.

Both boys have had their battles with mental health, so this next live show is very close to their hearts. It’s time to break the stigma and raise awareness for this incredible charity.

Read Between The Wines- Live and Uncorked opens at the Tramshed Theatre in Woolwich on the 2nd May 2026 for one evening. Tickets are on sale now at www.rbtwthepodcast.com, with all money raised on the night going to MANUP?.

The boys hope to see you all there to celebrate, have fun and help a very worthy cause.

Read Between the Wines is on Saturday 2 May 2026 at 7:30pm at the Tramshed, 51-53 Woolwich New Road, London SE18 6ES, United Kingdom.
