“If I think back ten years, I would never dream of doing what I am doing now…” reflects SuperNad, discussing how his work in the adult entertainment industry has transformed his relationship with his body.

“Growing up gay, I’ve always lacked confidence in many aspects of my life – I remember in my teens and in my twenties being very self-conscious.”

SuperNad sat down to speak with Gareth Johnson – host of the Naked Men Talking podcast. The conversation was part of a series of interviews in the build-up to this year’s Grabby Awards that will be held in Torremolinos.

Why is he called SuperNad?

“To be honest, there wasn’t much thought behind it…” admits SuperNad. “I had the Twitter account as a separate profile for adult content – I used Nad as it’s just the backwards version of my actual name, Dan.”

“I kind of fell into filming and didn’t give any thought to branding – I just stuck with SuperNad. I felt it was a bit different and hoped that it would help people remember me.”

“It was February 2025 when I launched my fan-subscription channels…” explains SuperNad. “I was posting gym progress pics on Twitter – when that started to get some traction, I set up a free OnlyFans. One of the creators I followed was asking for collabs in London. I half-jokingly messaged him to say that I’d be up for it – he took me up on it. That scene pretty much hard-launched me into the industry.”

Nominated in two categories – Best Top and also Newcomer of the Year – this is the first time that SuperNad will attend an industry event of this nature.

“Being nominated for a Grabby award is quite important to me…” confirms SuperNad. “I see myself as just a ‘normal’ guy, and I want to help fight the stigma sex work has and also just normalise having sex. We often shy away from talking about sex. There’s also a lack of knowledge about sexual health. I’m hoping that my work in adult entertainment will help me to educate people about sex and sexual health. I also want to own a queer space of some kind and create a shelter for vulnerable people. Winning a Grabby award will help me make some progress towards those goals.”

Naked Men Talking is a podcast that explores how we navigate intimacy, sexuality, and masculinity.

“We’ve released over 200 episodes since launching in 2023…” says Gareth Johnson. “We talk with men from all walks of life, but the guys working in the adult entertainment industry have a unique perspective to share.”

“Not only are these men fuelling our fantasies with the content that they create, they also work with their bodies as the tools of their trade. That leads to some interesting insights.”

“I’m looking forward to meeting content-creators from across Europe and sharing their stories with our listeners. If those conversations have to happen beside a rooftop naked swimming pool, those are the lengths that I’m prepared to go to. Investigative journalism takes commitment and determination. People need to know.”

Naked Men Talking is available on all podcast platforms and gtv.blue.
