Hersh Dagmarr was a prominent figure in the 1920s Weimar Berlin cabaret scene until their sudden disappearance, the circumstances of which remain unclear. This April, Dagmarr’s ghost will return to the Circle & Star to share memories through song, accompanied by George Webster on piano.
The evening will feature a program in French, German, and English, showcasing a century of cabaret, chanson, Sprechgesang, and popular song.
