Gay play Blink at Etcetera Theatre in London

This one-man gay rom-com will have you smiling, laughing and reaching for the tissues. Lonondon Pub Theatre Reviews gave it a five star review, calling it “An exceptionally moving and honest piece”. Blink is a mix of observational comedy and emotional insight into modern life for an interracial gay couple. Jake meets the man of his dreams who is a Kenyan refugee now working for Stonewall. Their relationship is full of laughter and together they build an incredible life filled with love, adventure and comical moments. But being gay isn’t all sunshine and rainbows as they face homophobia and racism head on, combat HIV stigma and show the world that two men partnered together – even from different races – are no different to anyone else. Theatre Weekly called it “A one-man tour de force”. Terry Geo wrote/directed his first play at age 11. He worked in television after leaving school, becoming the youngest TV director. After a very brief period in a boyband, he starred in musical theatre productions, short films, music videos and toured the UK and UAE with a TIE show. In 2017, Terry wrote and directed an award-nominated musical for the London stage. Blink of an Eye was the precursor to Blink. He has also published two science fiction novels and is currently writing his third. Blink is directed by Paul T. Davies, playwright and director of Jackie, Bury Me and Living with Luke.
